The Semmering Southern Railway Stage is a non-profit association with the objective of preserving the significant cultural history surrounding the Südbahnhotel and the Semmering UNESCO World Heritage region and making it tangible. The focus is on the lively communication of culture, architecture and history.

The association is led by the woman from Mürzzuschlag Heike Dobrobolny and the woman from Semmering Irene Beckmann. Coming from Styria and Lower Austria, the two women and their association want to cross the national border and merge the Semmering UNESCO World Heritage region.

The club organises Guided tours through the grand hotel and events on topics from art, culture and science. Under the motto „Where the world is a guest“, national and international visitors step onto a stage for encounters where culture can be experienced and history felt.

As a non-profit initiative, the Südbahnbühne Semmering is committed to preserving and further developing the cultural heritage. With its events does the Südbahnbühne sustainably strengthen the Semmering UNESCO World Heritage region.
